We are looking for a Beauty Studio Receptionist to act as the first point of contact for customers, assist with social media scheduling and posting, administrative tasks and maintenance of the reception areas and treatment rooms.

Salon Receptionist responsibilities include greeting customers upon their arrival, answering clients’ questions about services via phone, email or in person and processing transactions. To be successful in this role, you should be highly organized and able to manage clients with grace, even during peak demand.

Ultimately, you will help boost our reputation by building friendly, trusting relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

Warmly greet clients, walk them to the proper beauty station and inform assigned beauticians of their arrival.

Book and confirm appointments via phone and email on our scheduling app. Confirm with both clients and beauty technicians

Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts.

Offer beverages and softly chat with clients who are in the waiting area.

Welcome walk-ins, answer questions about services and schedule appointments based on availability

Take pictures & videos of technician’s work as well as post on various social media accounts or upload to cloud account for Marketing Manager to access.

Inform clients about new services and discounts

Cross-sell services and products when appropriate (e.g. through informative brochures and gift cards)

Update client records in file and on the customer database

Maintain a tidy reception area

Maintain inventory of lash extensions.

Requirements

Proven work experience as a Salon Receptionist, Front Desk Representative or similar role

Hands-on experience with office equipment, like printers and POS systems

Familiarity with processing transactions

Advanced social media skills

Excellent communication abilities (verbal, phone and email) with a customer service attitude

Solid organization and record-keeping skills

An ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances

High School diploma

Mardanha’s, an upscale and upcoming lash & brow beauty studio is seeking a Licensed Esthetician/Certified Lash Artist. The Esthetician/ Lash Artist provides exemplary customer service to clients, as well as top quality application of semi-permanent eyelash extensions, eyelash and eyebrow tinting, perms lashes, brow tinting and waxing. This position is critical to the livelihood of the salon and contributes to the positive reputation and overall culture that is conveyed to our clients. Must know threading. If you know how to semi-permanent make-up, that is a plus!

This position is a part-time, contracted position There is a 3-month probation period.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, personable and open to learning techniques specific to our business. During the probation period the Candidate will be trained in the Mardanha's way of providing services and must follow instructions and established protocols. At Mardanha’s you will have a fully equipped studio with luxury amenities including a lash recliners and a bed, stool, cart for supplies, refreshment and amenity cart for clients, restroom and an online booking system. RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Demonstrate excellent communication and client service skills.

•Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by state law and the studio’s policies and procedures.

•Perform thorough consultation and be able to effectively communicate after care for lash extensions and other services.

•Responsible for work area, inventory management for necessary items needed at station, organization and cleanliness of overall treatment room while working.

•Responsible for sharing in general cleanliness of salon including keeping common areas picked up and organized, helping with laundry duties, picking up and taking out trash, and helping wherever asked.

•All other duties as prescribed.

Job Requirements

•Must be an FL licensed Esthetician or Cosmetologist

•Must have a lash extension certification (Volume certification is a plus!)

•Must have at least 2 years of experience

•Motivated, positive, reliable, and personable attitude

•Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

•Maintain a professional appearance at all times

•Must have reliable transportation

•Comfortable in the beauty industry, with high level of client service

•Must keep workspace maintained as well as ensure neatness and cleanliness of all of the studio
